    Eileen traveled all around Midland, TX to bring you photos of a few major scenes in her novella "Inhuman" in the ON THE PROWL anthology.

    1. They call Midland the Tall City because it sprouted a few office buildings that show up for quite a ways

    5. This is County Road 60
    6. Midland is flat, flat, flat. And dry. The straggly shrub on the right is the closest we come to a native tree--it's a mesquite
    7. And if Kai's Midland were the same as mine, this would be where Jimmy Shaw's body was found
    8. There really is a long-time watering spot called The Bar

    11. And two shots of the Plaza itself, where groups may gather...
    12. ...though in these shots, the trees are brightly leafed, unlike in the story
