Today, Eileen found out she was nominated by Romantic Times for their Career Achievement Award in Urban Fantasy.

Wow. I just found out I'm up for a Career Achievement Award from RT. What's funny is that I already have one of these, for Romantic Suspense. This one would be for Urban Fantasy. The thing is, the other 3 nominees in that category are Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, and Kim Harrison--why don't those ladies already have that award, anyway?--so I'm not going to get another pretty golden statue. But it's exciting to be nominated!
